Barcelona host Real Madrid at the Nou Camp on Saturday in the first El Clasico of the season - but which club is bigger?
We've broken down the clubs' current and all-time successes into four categories to determine which La Liga giant comes out on top...
Since 1929, Real Madrid's average league position has been 2.74, marginally higher than Barcelona's 2.85. Los Blancos have also won 32 La Liga titles compared to Barca's 24.
HEAD TO HEAD
The two clubs will go head to head in the 173rd El Clasico on Saturday, with Real winning bragging rights with 72 wins, compared to the Catalans' 68 victories - while only 32 meetings have finished all square.
When it comes to honours, it's a matter of opinion. Barca have collected 91 trophies from the competitions listed below, 10 more than their rivals.
However, Madrid have won more La Liga titles and won the Champions League, formerly European Cup, on 11 occasions compared to Barcelona's five triumphs.

Barcelona have been more popular around the world on Google search over the last 12 months, outnumbering Madrid in 37 countries compared to Real's 29 - including the United Kingdom and Spain.
On social media, the rivals' official Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts also draw a stalemate, with Barca just edging the battle with 156m followers compared to Madrid's 155m, according to Brandtix.
However, in terms of the players' support, Real Madrid are victors with 486m compared to Barca's 440m, thanks largely to Cristiano Ronaldo's 249m followers.
Since 1929, Real have the edge over Barcelona with La Liga titles, a higher average league position, more El Clasico victories and a more illustrious trophy cabinet.
Today, the two clubs and their players have unrivalled global support on social media. However, the Catalans have won four El Clasicos out of the last six and finished above Los Blancos four seasons running.
Has the pendulum swung - are Barca now the bigger club? One thing's for sure, it's fine margins.
