Juventus are four points clear at top of the table with a game in hand going into this weekend where they host resurgent Inter Milan on Sunday, 05 February 2017 at the Juventus Stadium in Turin. Juventus vs Inter Preview: Last time these two meet was back in September when Inter Milan defeated Juventus 2-1 at home thanks to goals from Icardi and Perisic. Juventus however a different cattle of fish after their slow start and now playing some great football and does not look like any team in Italy can stop them. Inter Milan has also improved after sacking Frank De Boer and now they have a realistic chance of finishing in top 3 as they trail Napoli by just three points.
These two have played some wonderful games over the past couple of years and who can forget that impressive turn around by Juventus in second leg of Coppa italia when they came from 3-0 first leg deficit to draw level in tie and went on to win the match on penalties.
Team News & Possible Lineups: Juventus are likely to keep the 5-3-2 system with Higuain and Dybala playing upfront while Khedira, Pjanic and Lemina starting in midfield roles. Evra and Dani Alves should keep their places as fullbacks. Trio of Barzagli, Bonucci and Chiellini to make the back three.
Inter Milan on the other hand will use the 4-3-3 system with Icardi starting upfront while Perisic and Jovetic playing in supporting roles. Ever Banega and Kondobia to start in midfield alongside Chilian Gary medel. This is how I expect both teams to lineup.
Match Predictions: Juventus has looked superb so far this season and with Gonzalo Higuain they have found a prolific scorer putting them right up there as one of the best teams not only in Italy but in Europe. Their preference is to win the Champions League this season but their big squad should have enough about them to put a strong challenge for league as well. I am going with a comfortable win for Juventus in this one.
