Manchester City will be taking on Swansea City in the premier league game on Sunday, 05 February 2017 at Etihad Stadium. Having won a comfortable outing against West Ham in midweek, City can really put their top 4 persuit in good shape by winning against Swansea. Welsh club on the other hand has recorded some decent wins in last week or so which see them two point away from relegation zone. Another good performance against City will even boost their chances of survival.

Pep Guardiola has reverted back from some of his early season decision by brining Yaya Toure back in the starting lineup and finally dropping Claudio Bravo while new signing Gabriel Jesus started in midweek against West Ham and created chances and got himself on scoring sheet. Which means City now have two quality strikers with Aguero likely to wait for his chance.
Team News & Possible Starting Lineups: Vincent Kompany is out injured while Nolito is suspended. Fabien Delph is set to miss the Swansea clash due to lack of match fitness. Apart from that City has a full squad to choose from and Guardiola is expected to start with Otamendi and John Stones in central defence while Kolarov and Sagna to start in full back positions.
Swansea on the other hand will start with an unconventional 4-3-1-1 system where Baston to play upfront on his own while Barrow and Sigurdsson to start in attacking roles ahead of Cork, Britton and Fer. This is how I expect both teams to lineup.
