Having ended their Roma hoodoo, Napoli will look to make it two wins on the spin as they take on debutants and relegation candidates on Sunday afternoon.

The Partenopei were dumped out of the Champions League at the hands of Real Madrid, but considering that Los Blancos are the all-time winners in that competition, that was not a surprise. It was a mismatch from the outset, and the result confirmed that. But Maurizio Sarri’s side showed great fortitude to rebound and beat Roma on the road to further enhance their chances at snatching second place.

In fact, they’re just two behind the Giallorossi, who will be traveling to face relegation candidates Palermo later on Sunday. This will be a great chance for Napoli to pick up an easy three points after suffering a shock loss to Atalanta at home a few weeks back.

Crotone, meanwhile have yet to win an away fixture and have lost 11 out of their road fixtures. They will be at the mercy of a Napoli side who have lost two straight home games (including the European tie with Real Madrid) and are determined to make sure
they can secure automatic Champions League football by finishing in second.

The defeat to Atalanta was notable in the fact that for the first time, Napoli failed to score at their home ground. They will really have no problems adding a few here. The Squali appear already to have given up and have resigned themselves to making a swift return to Serie B next term. Unfortunately, they don’t appear to be set to emulate Sassuolo, who survived their debut Serie A campaign during the 2013/2014 term.
