PSG have killed the drama in Ligue 1 when they defeated the reigning champions Monaco on Sunday evening at Stade Louis II.

The Parisians are now nine points clear at the top of the standing and it seems nothing can stop their cruise towards the silverware at this stage.

Unai Emery’s men will be looking to make it five wins on the trot in the league this Wednesday when they host mid-table Troyes in the last game of the day.

The Parisians were in complete control against Monaco as Cavani’s early goal opened up the game for them.

Neymar continued his spell of fine form by doubling the lead from the spot to net his eighth goal of the campaign.

Cavani is by far the league’s top scorer with as many as 16 goals so far and there are no doubts he will be the main threat to Troyes’ goal on Wednesday.

The visitors have nothing to lose at Parc des Princes, but we can’t be quite optimistic about their chances given they’ve lost two on the bounce away from home.

The losses came against the likes of Caen and Dijon and Jean Louis Garcia’s men have generally found it tough to keep things tight at the back on their travels.

On the bright side, the team did snatch an important three-pointer against Angers SCO last weekend when they celebrated a commanding 3-0 victory in front of their fans.

PSG are responsible for one of Troyes’ toughest losses in their history. It came just when the two sides last met each other, back in mid-march last year at Stade de l’Aube, and the Parisians notched as many as nine goals.

PSG have won each of last five meetings with Troyes and they have eight victories in last nine home outings with this rival.

The home win should really not come in question, but the bookies leave us with limited options pricing it at 1.05 odds.

Still, Emery’s men have really been lethal in the final third as of late and we can’t but expect yet another demolishing victory for them with a potential brace from either Cavani or Neymar.
